When you are a high school senior and love to perform it’s only suiting to have part of your high school senior portrait session held at Shea’s Performing Art Center in Buffalo, NY. Haylee from Maryvale High School, located in Cheektowaga, NY did just that. Any performer or dancer would just dream of having their senior portraits here and after shooting this session I can see why. It is so unique and different and it really embraces this senior’s personality.
We started the session in mid afternoon. I have to say, I was truly impressed by the staff at Shea’s, they are all so kind and welcoming. When you book your senior portraits to be photographed at Shea’s there is a fee. This fee gives more than enough time to use most of the facility for the session.
Love the pictures inside the performers dressing room. You can just sit her and dream and wonder what they were thinking and feeling before getting ready and what it would be like getting ready for the stage performance. This spot was made for Haylee. The stairs inside by the stage make a beautiful backdrop for Haylee’s senior portraits. These stairs are by the entrance of Shea’s, the area offers a little more lighting, but you still get the feel of an evening show. You never realize until you using Shea’s as props or backdrops the gorgeous gold doors of the building. The scream class an sophistication. I just loved photographing Haylee by them.To see your name in lights at a performing art center is something you will never forget. Having a senior portrait session that is a one of a kind experience and remembrance is something I always strive for in these sessions. Senior year is one of the most exciting and happiest times.
