Meet Alexandria Class of 2016 Iroquois High School located in Elma, NY a suburb of Buffalo, NY. It was a cold fall/autumn morning. We started the session at sunrise around 7:00 am because I really wanted to capture the golden light and beautiful sunrise skies for this fall equestrian session. The leaves had gorgeous shades of orange, red and gold and that is just what Momma visioned for Alexandria’s senior portraits.
Portrait Pretty Photography are senior photographers in Buffalo, NY, serving all of WNY. We went to the clients home for this session. As most of our senior sessions are custom and boutique style we do them outdoors at unique locations to really showcase individuality.
At the start of the session it was so cold we could see our breath. It actually rained for a tad bit, but that did not stop us.The images of Alexandria with her horse are simply breathtaking. Anyone that loves horses can see what I mean. All the tones in the portraits are soft yet rich. It is really hard to pick out a favorite. I myself want to blow up one for my studio but cannot decide which I love best, because each scene has a few I just adore. The two above are by far my favorites from this scene. Alexandria really shows her love for this horse, you can feel it. The horse is her buddy.
This scene on the country road was not planned. She mentioned she had a white dress, and I asked if she has any cowgirl boots and of course she did! We grabbed some jewels from my stash and headed to the road. These turned out awesome, so glad we did these. I am sure her Momma is going to miss her when she heads to collage so I am glad we were able to capture these wonderful senior portraits for her. Thank you so much to Momma and Alexandria for picking me to capture this special time for you XOXO
